They had been planning this day for a long time now. Contemplating details and occasionally worrying about decisions, so there were no nerves present on Ryan and Jordan's big day on Saturday. Just relief and excitement that the day was finally here. They were blessed with an absolutely gorgeous, rain-free day to celebrate their love and commitment to one another.
Jordan's day started at Looks Unlimited in Chillicothe where she and her bridesmaids had their hair and make-up done. Across town, Ryan and his groomsmen hung out at the Hampton Inn- watching TV and figuring out exactly what to do with a pocket square.
When everyone was ready and looking their best, we headed over to St. Paul's Episcopal Church in downtown Chillicothe, put on the finishing touches, and Jordan walked down the aisle to marry her best friend.
While the ceremony was beautiful and touching, the real party started at the reception at the Chillicothe Country Club. I always say that wedding should be parties but Ryan and Jordan really delivered. It's been a long time since I've seen that many people all have an amazing time together.
After the sunset session, everyone headed back in to the reception to battle over the OSU-Michigan rivalry, dance, and drink some more. As we were walking out Jordan and Ryan were still on the dance floor dancing cheek to cheek.
Keep smiling!
