Brianna is one of the sweetest girls you'll ever meet. She has an easy going attitude that mixes perfectly with her inviting smile. Tyler is a guy's guy. He is quick to laugh, tell a joke, and of course, enjoy a good drink. These two are perfect for each other and together they planned their perfect wedding day.
On Saturday Brianna was the picture of laid back - there were absolutely no nerves present as she and her bridesmaids had their make-up done at Ulta in Lancaster. They talked about their lives (Brianna wasn't surprised that Tyler had forgotten his phone on their wedding day), their weddings (her bridesmaid Tiffany just got engaged), and their friendships (stories of cheerleading and bad hair styles).
After getting all glammed up at Ulta, the girls headed to the Hampton Inn in Lancaster to finish getting ready while the guys did the same at Tyler and Brianna's condo. Eventually both groups headed to Cheers & Lakeside Chalet where the ceremony and reception would be held.
Brianna's dress was gorgeous and she looked absolutely stunning in it. As her "something blue" she had a heart made out of one of her father's dress shirts stitched into the inside of her dress - such a cute detail to add to her special day.
One of my favorite things about being a wedding photographer is meeting and spending time with all the wonderful girls in the bridal party. These girls were no exception. Since Tiffany just got engaged, they decided they needed a picture of all of their rings. So cute!
The ceremony itself was in a small chapel tucked away in the woods. The trees protected everyone from the soft shower of rain that started shortly before the ceremony and provided a beautiful backdrop for a touching, intimate ceremony.
Tyler and Brianna's daughter, Briley, also waited at the end of the aisle for her mommy. How cute is that!?
Speaking of cute... Brianna's face when she finally gets to stand next to her groom - priceless, adorable, I can't get enough.
Tyler and Brianna planted a unity tree with soil from both of their parents' homes to symbolize their love. A unique idea that was so fitting for their wedding.
After the ceremony and group pictures, Tyler and Brianna graciously gave me a few minutes of their time so I could snap some photos of the two of them together, in love, on their wedding day.
Of course this little girl just stole the show...
Then it was time for the party. Cheers & Lakeside Chalet is a beautiful venue with a naturally rustic yet elegant atmosphere. Tyler and Brianna did an amazing job making the place their own.
I always say there are two ways to do the cake cutting. Tyler and Brianna ended up doing both...
Tyler and Brianna- your wedding was such a beautiful day that was only made more special by your laughter and friendship. Blake and I are truly honored that you chose us to capture your big day and hope that you are enjoying your honeymoon! Thank you so much for being such an amazing couple - you guys rock!
