Michael + Katelyn: Newark, Ohio Engagement

Let me start out with the obvious, Katelyn and Michael are absolutely adorable together. Katelyn is the kind of girl who never misses a chance to have a good time, tell you like it is, or be a little loud. And that's what everybody loves about her. She's an absolute sweet heart and compliments perfectly Michael's more reserved demeanor. They originally dated in high school, but got back together a few years later better than ever before.

As far as clients go, these two were perfect. They always kept each other laughing, so getting them to smile was never a problem. They couldn't keep their hands off each other, so getting those intimate poses just required me to keep the camera ready. Their love for each other was palpable and it was easy to see these two are meant for each other.

Katelyn and Michael- thank you so much for choosing me to capture your love story! I know you two will have a lifetime of happiness and laughter ahead of you.

We shot this engagement session on Wednesday in Dawes Arboretum in Newark, Ohio and Katelyn's Father's house at Buckeye Lake. We had to fight the "lake effect" of Katelyn's hair blowing all over the place between pictures and trying to maneuver the row boat in a timely manner may have put a few grey hairs on my head, but it was all worth it. Because Katelyn looks gorgeous and Michael looks in love. Who could ask for more?
