Ask anyone at the wedding and they'll tell you the same thing- Nicole has the kindest, biggest heart in the world. She is beautiful, caring, and fiercely loyal to those she loves. Nicole is an amazing woman who wanted nothing more than to plan the perfect wedding for the man she loved. Brent said it best during his speech at their reception, "She had no idea that while she was planning her fairy tale wedding, she was giving me mine".
It was a rainy morning at Brookside Country Club in Columbus, but that didn't dampen the spirits of anyone inside the bridal suite. Nicole was all smiles as she and her bridesmaids finished their hair and make-up. I listened to their laughter from the other room as I captured some photos of the invitations, jewelry, and other details Nicole had carefully picked out for her fairy tale day.
Although, I can't be sure because girls aren't allowed in the Country Club's Stag Room, Blake assures me the guys were in equally high spirits as they were getting ready.
Since it was still sprinkling outside, we took advantage of Brookside's gorgeous interior for some group photos before the ceremony.
I think Brent really felt his inner James Bond coming out in this chair.
After some last minute touches, it was time for the ceremony. The ceremony itself was beautifully simple- short and sweet.
After the ceremony we were able to sneak outside under the umbrella of a big oak tree and snap a few photos. When the rain started picking up again, we headed back inside for the party.
As I said earlier, Nicole is one of the sweetest people in the world. She spent the rest of the night greeting and hugging every person she saw.
I love catching small moments between the bride and groom during weddings. Seeing how they interact candidly is one of my favorite parts of being a wedding photographer. I knew during their engagement shoot that these two loved each other, but seeing the way Nicole and Brent looked at each other and made each other laugh all night- it made me really appreciate the love they share.
You may not be able to see it, but that's definitely a tear escaping Nicole's beautiful eyes.
After the scheduled events of the night were done, the band took the stage and Brent stole the show with his flawless performance of The Humpty Dance.
Brent and Nicole ended the night doing what they do best - laughing, dancing, and enjoying each other's company.
Brent and Nicole- thank you so much for allowing Blake and I to be a part of your big day. I cannot say enough how amazing you two are together. Nicole, your amazing smile grows 10 times brighter when Brent is in the room. Brent, you have an amazing woman and you treat her just like the princess she is. Congratulations, you two!
